Rotorua - Wellington

We leave Rotorua in the direction of Lake Taupo. Bungy jumping is offered here as an activity but nodody is quite up to that yet! Instead we spend a few hours in Taupo itself, before continuing on toward Wellington.

We travel through Tongariro National Park and get some wonderful views of Mount Ruapehu.

We also make a photo stop at Huka Falls. Though not as spectacular as the falls in Whangarei, the pure blue colour of the water is worth seeing.
