Souvenirs

Queenstown

There is simply so much on offer in "the adventure capital" that it's hard to decide what to do. Queenstown is situated on the 77km long Lake Wakatipu, and the Kawarua, Shotover, and Dart rivers are all nearby so it's not surprising that there are a huge array of water activities including jet-boating, rafting, river boarding, and kayaking. A scenic cruise of Lake Wakatipu onboard the TSS Earnslaw is another popular option.

The land activities include the compulsory multitude of bungy jumps ranging in height from 43m to 134m, and then there's a number of less terrifying options such as horse-riding or 4WD tours.

Robbie takes a trip on the Shotover Jet, while I go horse-riding at Dart stables near Glenorchy.
