Queenstown - Lake Ohau

On our way out of Queenstown we make a stop at the Kawarau River suspension bridge - this bridge is the original New Zealand bungy jump site. We stay for a while to watch one of our tour group do a bungy jump!

We continue on via the Lindis Pass to the township of Omarama, claimed to be New Zealand's best spot for hang gliding. We make a quick stop at a fruit market in Cromwell to sample some of their famous fruit. We continue on, munching happily, and as we arrive at Lake Ohau we are greeted with excellent views of Mount Cook.
