• QUALIFICATIONS: Degree (B.Eng) in Electronic Engineering; Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication

• DIY - I recently bought a brand new house so had no choice but to get into the whole DIY thing. It's a slow process, and there are often mishaps and disasters, but it all seems worth it when a visitor compliments that wooden floor you laid yourself, or those shelves you put up! Anyway my favourite DIY site is the B&Q website. They have an excellent range of goods, and great advice articles online. Unfortunately they do not offer online shopping to their Irish customers but they have a huge store in Liffey Valley, Dublin and in Newry, Co.Down.
• Gardening - My personal favourite is Bakker Holland. They have all the plants you could ever need for your garden. You can even order everything online from their Irish website, Bakker-Irl. A good one for gardening advice and information is Crocus (UK).
• Cars - I am the proud owner of a Chilli Red new MINI.
• Horse-racing & Betting - An ideal day out for me is a day at the races, but when I can't make it in person I just log on to Paddy Power - for all your online betting needs...Yes, yes, I know betting is for mugs but who cares - it's great fun!
